Calgary Chinese Orchestra is presenting its 2019 annual concert, titled “Scenes from Tea Horse Road”. The concert features folk music from the ancient Tea Horse Road region in southwest China, and a new composition by Chinese composer Li Bo-chan, who was inspired by this ancient road of the tea trade. Joined by Suona virtuoso Wu Zhong-xi from Vancouver and the precociously talented CCO Youth Ensemble, this concert is packed with classics and surprises!
